The company tried to use materials such as stainless steel and aluminum for the manufacture of the structure of telephone OnePlus One, but the weight of the phone in the last 198 grams and 175 grams, respectively, which is also unacceptable. 

As a result, the team chose phone manufacturing magnesium to reduce weight of 162 grams. 

In fact, the company says that the phone OnePlus One is the lightest smartphone in the world which has a screen of 5.5 inches.
